Pairing a phone to your Jeep Wrangler’s audio system via Bluetooth is one of the smartest things you can do as a car owner. It offers a new level of convenience, and ensures that you’re getting the most out of your ride. For some, it can be a bit confusing how to make the two work together, which is why we’ve put together some tips on how to connect your phone to a Jeep Wrangler.

General Tips on Pairing your Phone via Bluetooth

Step 1: Have both your smartphone and Vehicle turned on.

Step 2: Press the icon on your Uconnect system that looks like a phone.

Step 3: Follow the prompts on your system and select the pair a device option.

Step 4: Go into your phone’s Bluetooth settings and search for a device to pair to. Select Uconnect.

Step 5: Your Uconnect system should display a four-digit-PIN. Enter it into your phone.

Your phone should now be paired, and can take advantage of options such as hands free calling, media playback, and sending and receiving texts — depending on your Uconnect system.

How to Pair my Phone on a non-touchscreen Uconnect System

  • I have 2 phones paired , so how do I change from one to the other ? It’s very easy in my GM vehicles, but I cant remember what the dealer said I had to do. Please help

    • You should be able to re pair your current phone as you get into your Wrangler. Here at Ultimate Rides we all share the Wranglers before they sell, and if we re pair on the device itself it will always connect to most recent phone.
